This year’s Iverk Agricultural Show, in Piltown, takes place on Saturday 28th August. Having run for many years on the first Thursday in September, the committee yielded to many requests to change to the weekend, so the fourth Saturday in August is the new date for the Show. Hence this year’s date is Saturday 28th August.
As usual the Iverk Show will provide something for everybody, so with fine weather already predicted, Piltown is hoping to welcome up to 20,000 in attendance on Saturday 28th August.
Admission charges are being held at last year’s prices and parking facilities are laid out so that there won’t be any long walks for all our visitors.
The new Plaza area, introduced last year, will be even bigger this year with garden displays and demonstrations taking place during the day, plus the Music Stand which will feature five different bands throughout the afternoon.
All the usual marquees combining Arts & Crafts, Indoor Trade Stands, the Food Hall and the ICA special events marquee will all be centred in the middle of the Show Grounds.
Some 150 Outdoor Trade Stands will feature up through the Show Grounds and these will include some Trade Stands coming from England, Please also note the ‘Most Appropriately Dressed Lady’ competition . Iverk Show is still taking entries for all classes.
