Family carers in Waterford are living in abject poverty as a result of cutbacks in State services, the local branch of the Carers’ Association has claimed.
Reacting to Monday night’s Primetime Investigates’ report which found that over 82 per cent of family carers have been affected by cutbacks, Nuncie Murphy, Centre Manager of The Carers Association Waterford, said the report
completely backed up her organisation’s own findings.
