Fifteen workers from a local factory pocketed approximately €30,000 each in a lotto win last weekend.
The syndicate, believed to work at a Slieverue-based operation, won €500,000 on the Euromillions Lotto Draw.
Their winning quickpick ticket was bought in The Corner Shop on the Upper Yellow Road. One of the winners, who regularly buys the group’s ticket at The Corner Shop, called in to share his good news with staff.
