A South Kilkenny woman who claims her life has been destroyed by radiation emitted from a mobile phone mast installed literally feet from her home, has publicly revealed her turmoil for the first time.
“It was like having sunburn inside of your skull,” said Piltown resident Helen Corcoran of the litany of health problems which first surfaced in the Autumn of 2004.
“I’ve had to quit my job, I can’t drive my car any more, travelling by bus is now also unbearable and I’m virtually under house arrest in my own home as it’s one of the few places I know there’s a lower level of radiation.
