Several Waterford performers excelled in a UCC Dramatic production of Ragtime, The Musical at the Everyman Palace in Cork. Danny Hale who was a memorable Little Red Kettle member, was the Harlem sidekick of Coalhouse Walker, as Walker fought for justice and revenge against racial and social prejudice in a pre-World War America when Ragtime music swept the nation.
