Wexford Football League 1  Waterford League 1 (AET)
(Wexford won 5-4 on penalties)

Champions in 1985, 1993 and 1995, the Waterford League were just three minutes away from bridging an 18 years gap in Ozier Park on Sunday last but an equalising goal on 87 minutes ruined the chance of ending the long wait for a fourth All Ireland title.
The dream was still alive when the penalty shoot-out got underway but alas it was the Wexford League who came out on top and as a result they repeated their 2007 success over Waterford, a game that was also played in Ozier Park.
