The final scoreline tells its own story of this SFAI U-16 cup clash as Bohemians were knocked out at the hands of an impressive Clonmel Town side at Ben Wadding Park on Saturday afternoon last.
Shane Flynn swung in the ball to the near post from the left that found the head of the unchallenged Sam Ryan, he couldn’t direct his header on target as his effort flashed inches wide of the target with keeper Gavin Walsh struggling.
Walsh was nearly beaten on 12 minutes when Town midfielder Coleman Kennedy stepped over a free kick 25 yards from goal but thankfully from Bohemians’ point of view his cracking left-footed strike whistled inches wide of the target.
