Hibernians took the lead in this game after only seven minutes, but a storming second-half display by the visitors to Mitchell Kennedy Park saw Bohemians book a well-deserved place in Round 4 of the Munster Youth Cup.
Johnny Walsh, the lively Bohemians striker, led the way with a sparkling second-half hat-trick. Played on what was an extremely pleasant afternoon, both sides provided plenty of good entertainment.
Hibernians took the lead after Adam Heaslip attempted to knock the ball back to Dylan Power but when the keeper tried to kick to safety all his succeeded in doing was to place the ball into the path of Shane O’Connor and the Hibs player accepted his gift with ease.
