Waterford 2; Kerry 0

The Under 16 side, managed by Johnny Browne, were given a tough game by Kerry but goals from the Tramore player Zach Shanahan gave them a well-deserved victory. He opened the scoring after 56 minutes and he scored once again on 64 minutes, this time heading home a left-wing corner kick taken by Cormac O’Driscoll.

This was a very good performance by the Waterford team against a strong and hard working Kerry outfit. Cormac O’Driscoll lifted the cup for Waterford. Final score: Waterford 2 Kerry 0.
