Sunday last proved to be an incredible day for schoolboy football in Waterford. Four leagues contested finals and incredibly all for won. Four Munster titles in one day. Amazing. All four now go forward to the All-Ireland semi-finals. It was truly a red letter day for Waterford soccer.

The Under 12 team defeated Clare 3-1. The Under 14 squad won 4-1 against South Tipperary. The Under 15 outfit, managed by John Furlong, required extra-time to get the better of South Tipperary. Johnny Browne’s Under 16s overcame Kerry in Graun Park 2-0.
