Quite simply it does not get any worse than this. Although there are four games yet to be played in series one of the league campaign, Waterford United are down in the bottom half of the First Division table following this dreadful display in Flancare Park last Saturday night.
Cork City, Monaghan, Limerick, Longford and Shelbourne are all above the Blues already and going on this showing Stephen Henderson’s team will not be making up ground any time soon. The defence was all over the place during the course of the 90 minutes. The midfield was equally as bad, and the strike force was starved of any real possession.
