The Spencer family ships come home to dock at Greyfriars Gallery this week, when they form an integral part of the exhibition “From Ship To Shore”. The exhibition celebrates the return of the Tall Ships to Waterford with a selection of thirty-three artworks from the Waterford Municipal Art Collection on the theme of boats, ships and the sea and features works by nationally renowned artists Paul Henry, Sean Keating, William Leech, and Charles Lamb, as well as Waterford artists past and present including Dorothy Caldwell, Michael O’Connell and Ciaran Lynch.
