Battling Blues concede late goal

8th May 2013 | Soccer, Sports

Waterford United 1  Longford Town 1

A goal two minutes from full time robbed Waterford United of an important victory at the RSC on Friday last.
The home side took the lead after 15 minutes and held that slender advantage until the 88th minute. At that stage a vital three points looked secured but substitute Keith Gillespie was then fouled by Paul Quilty out on the right side of the field.
