Debtors who refuse to pay their bills and engage in discussions with Waterford County Council are being ‘named and shamed’ in Stubbs Gazette, the internationally recognised debt agency.

Sinn Fein’s Cllr Brendan Mansfield enquired at a meeting of the County Council in Dungarvan if Stubbs was being used to publish the names of debtors. He said he was given to understand that the Council was always willing to consider terms with those who had difficulty paying bills if they came into the office for discussions.
