US financial services group Citi has announced it will create 250 jobs in Waterford and Dublin over the next 18 months.
The New York based bank, which operates one of the world’s largest global transaction services, has a Waterford base at the Butlerstown Business and Technology Park.
It’s not yet clear how many jobs will be filled at the Waterford facility.
The positions will be in the group’s global transaction division, which involves processing payments for large companies and organisations that carry out business from different locations worldwide.
