Danish home retailer, JYSK, has announced full details of its first store to open in Waterford. On Thursday, 27th February at 9am, the people of Waterford will be able to shop the global homewares brand in the former BuyLo building at Unit 3/4 Boland’s Retail Park, Cork Road, Waterford. Bringing lots of new jobs to the area, the JYSK store will be managed by Kelly Ryan.

Kelly Ryan was born and raised in Waterford. Kelly has worked in senior roles in the retail sector for almost 20 years. Throughout her career, Kelly has worked with many well established retailers including Petmania, Peacocks, Jane Norman and River Island, giving her extensive experience in the sector. She has a keen eye for trends and visual display, along with a passion for the retail industry.

Kelly commented on the journey that the JYSK brand has taken to come to Ireland, saying: “I chose to work for JYSK because it’s an exciting time to be with such a huge company that’s just starting its journey in Ireland. I’m excited for everyone to see what we have to offer, as there is such variety and a price point for everyone. I love my job here at JYSK and I’m delighted to have one of the biggest JYSK stores in Ireland coming to Waterford. It’s going to be beautiful and I can’t wait for customers to see it.”
