The Mayor of Waterford, Cllr John Halligan, has announced details of the 2010 Mayor’s Ball project which aims to raise more than €30,000 for two leading local charities – the Society of St Vincent de Paul and Children’s Group Link.

The ball, which has now become one of the city’s top social occasions of the year, will take place in the Tower Hotel, Waterford, on April 10 next and has attracted substantial sponsorship so that the bulk of the proceeds for the sale of ticket at 110 euro per person, will go directly to the charities.
Mayor Halligan said he was pleased to announce that the main sponsor of the 2010 ball is Noel Frisby Construction Ltd.: “Noel Frisby Construction has been building homes in Waterford for 23 years now. From small beginnings the company has grown to be one of the leading house builders and developers of commercial property in Waterford and we thank its founder, Noel Frisby, for instantly stepping up to the mark when I asked him to support us.”
