Waterford City’s Municipal Art Gallery looks set to make a direct swap with the Waterford Tourism Information Office by relocating to The Granary, with the Tourist Office re-housing itself at Greyfriars.
Waterford City Arts Officer Conor Nolan confirmed this move to The Munster Express on Wednesday afternoon.
“Not only will be occupying the space currently designated to the Tourist Office at The Granary, but we’ll also be availing of the wall space in the ground floor area currently used by the Waterford Museum of Treasures,” he said.
It’s also believed that the Theatre Royal has expressed an interest in displaying further works from the Municipal Art Collection.
