A scheme that will see start-up companies competing for up to €20,000 each is expected to form an integral part of the Government’s regional action plan, promised in the wake of the Talk Talk closure. A meeting to finalise details of the plan is to be held this week.
Among those in attendance shall be Teagasc, WIT, the Higher Education Authority, FÁS/Solas, Failte Ireland, the South East Regional Authority and local authorities in the South East.
The €200,000 fund will be administered by Enterprise Ireland and should be available from the end of next month.
