There was relief amongst Glaxo Smith Kline workers in Dungarvan this week, when the company released a statement indicating that its restructuring programme was over ‘for now’.
The British multi-national, which is Dungarvan’s largest employer, announced a 14% increase in quarterly profits last week.
Glaxosmithkline (GSK), which employs 1,400 people in Dungarvan, Cork and Dublin, began a restructuring programme in 2008.
