Ireland South MEP Phil Prendergast is still locked in efforts to bring Talk Talk to accountability for the manner in which they closed their Waterford plant, with the loss of 575 jobs.
Minister of State Ciarán Cannon confirmed this week that he will be making an application to the European Globalisation Fund (EGF) to re-train the former staff of Talk Talk.
The plant closed last Friday. The IDA are trying to promote the plant to new call centres.
