Summer is always a busy season in Waterford with festivals and events taking place across the county every week, so it’s the perfect time for WLR to reveal their brand new Outside Broadcaster sponsored by Cork Airport; a state of the art broadcast truck which allows WLR to get to the heart of everything that’s happening in Waterford. The WLR Broadcaster comes only weeks after WLR launched their partnership with Cork Airport for the brand new WLR eGolfs: the 100% electric vehicles which accompany the Broadcaster to every gig!
From the Opening Ceremony of the GAA World games in Waterford City Centre, to Portlaw for the launch of All Together Now, Spraoi, The Dungarvan Show and the Tramore August Racing Festival, WLR’s new Broadcaster and eGolfs will be at the heart of them all.

It’s also the perfect addition to bring the wow-factor to any business or corporate event. WLR’s Andy McCloskey recently presented The Saturday Jukebox live from the opening of the brand new Costa Coffee flagship cafe in the Butlerstown Retail park. Throughout the three-hour show, the WLR Broadcaster attracted the attention of every passer-by while broadcasting all the activity from the opening to listeners right across County Waterford.
