VintageRally

Emily (9) and Amy (7) Rothwell, daughters of Roy and Sheila Rothwell and granddaughters of the late Leslie Rothwell who died last October, sit proudly on their grandfather’s 1945 Allis Chalmers Model B Tractor.

Enthusiasts are gearing up for the Inistioge Vintage Rally on August 1st and preparations are for the big event are going well. The Inistioge Vintage Rally is always great day out for all the family in the charming village along the banks of the river Nore. 

On Saturday, July 31st the Slievenamon Vintage Club Road Run will travel along the route from fom Mullinahone to Inistioge. Arrival in Inistioge at 6pm.

On Sunday, August 1st, for the vintage enthusiast there are Vintage Cars, Tractors, Motorbikes, Stationary Engines and Farm Implement Displays. Entertain the family and enjoy Live Music & Dancing, Baby Show, Face Painting, the ever popular Dog Show, Bouncy Castle, Quality Stalls, The Rally Farmers Market and all kinds of Novelty Events. 

Proceeds are donated to local charities and organisations and, this year, the Home Care Team has been selected as the primary charity. 

The official opening of the Inistioge Vintage Rally will be performed by local man John Bryan, President Irish Farmers Association who resides in Inistioge. 

There will also be a special award, the new Leslie Rothwell Trophy, which will be awarded to the Best Vintage Exhibit.
