The death took place in Dublin yesterday (Tuesday) of the Waterfordborn international comedian, Hal Roach.
Aged 84, Mr Roach was born in the Lower Grange area of the city and still has close family living in Waterford.

He was so funny everyone loved to listen to him.I have tapes of him and never get fed up listening to him. May he R.I.P
