BEAT 102-103 had, as Chief Executive and Programme Controller Gabrielle Cummins put it, “a lot to shout about” on Monday of this week: the 10th anniversary of the regional radio station’s offi cial launch.
I’ve naturally got a soft spot for Beat, since I hosted its ‘More Music Breakfast’ on Saturday mornings between 2005 and 2011, while also contributing to the station’s sports output.
