In the Munster Senior Cup on Sunday Tramore booked a date with the current champions Waterford United.
The Seasiders came away from the Dr Pat O’Callaghan Complex in Clonmel with a 2-1 victory. Christopher Grace scored both goals against a Clonmel Town side who were somewhat understrength due to their upcoming semi-final games in the Munster and FAI Junior Cups.
The result means that Alan Reynolds will take his charges to the RSC for a match against the club he once played for, and indeed managed. Tramore were the only team to defeat Waterford United during the Blues pre-season games.
