Man is held after Dome Bar break-in

A thirty-year-old male was in Garda custody on Tuesday following a burglary at WIT’s Dome Bar in the early hours of that morning.

The alarm at the bar was activated between 2.30am and 4.30am.

The sixty-year-old man who was attacked during a burglary at his Mount Sion Avenue home in the early hours of last Friday morning has been released from hospital, following treatment for a wound to the back of the head.
