MAYOR of Waterford City Jim D’Arcy has broken his silence on the controversy involving his use of the Mayoral car, which is afforded the office holder during the year-long term in office.
The driving arrangements of the Mayor came under scrutiny in a recent newspaper report which questioned the logic of supplying a new car each year, the designation of a special number plate, and the use of a reserved parking space outside City Hall.
