Tramore House has been the temporary home of Gaelscoil Philib Barún
Pupils at Tramore’s Gaelscoil Philib Barún face at least five more years in prefab accommodation, meaning it will have used temporary class facilities longer than any other Gaelscoil in the country.
Despite purchasing a greenfield site adjacent to the school at Crobally Upper in 2003, the Department of Education hasn’t included the 27-year-old Gaelscoil in its School Building Programme over the next five years.
