WATERFORD’S Pamela Uddin was the latest contestant to be fired on the BBC One show ‘The Apprentice’.
Assistant brand manager Pamela (24) from Waterford City had managed to reach the halfway point of the hotly contested competition to win a £250,000 investment from Lord Alan Sugar.
In the episode of the popular TV series which was aired last Wednesday, November 11th, Pamela had acted as Project Manager for her team ‘Tenacity’ but was ultimately held responsible when her team failed to win their task.
Facing Lord Sugar in the boardroom with her fellow teammates, Pamela heard the infamous words ‘You’re Fired’.
Since leaving the show, the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) graduate has spoken of her battles to overcome her stammer and dyslexia.
Despite being knocked out of the high profile series, Pamela still plans to continue to pursue her business idea which focuses on the development of dyslexia workshops.
And she’s even suggested that she may dip her toe into politics, so watch this space!
