Just five days after the Tall Ships sailed down the adjoining Estuary, Barrowside’s most famous vessel played a starring role at the opening of the all new Dunbrody Visitor Centre in New Ross.
And with one of Wexford’s most famous descendants on hand to perform the official opening, there was an undeniable air of celebration as Michael Flatley performed the honours alongside Tourism Minister Leo Varadkar.
