Waterford’s Under-21 Football Championship campaign ended in somewhat predictable circumstances under the Thurles floodlights on Wednesday last.
But given the scant preparation the panel had in terms of get-togethers and training, compared to a well-drilled Tipp side that’s trained four times a week of late, the Deisemen fared well against considerable odds.
