PicADungarvan Colleges (formally Coláiste na nDéise) are through to a second Dr Harty Cup in a row after they came out on top in last Saturday’s semi final at Fermoy having three points to spare at the end of sixty plus minutes of hurling. Thurles CBS went into Saturday’s game as favourites and for a large portion of the game looked as if they were going to come through but the Mid Tipperary college side were left cursing their luck at the end of the game for some costly mistakes.
While Dungarvan Colleges are safely through to this years final, they will have to wait a little longer to see who they will play as Ard Scoil Rís and Our Lady’s from Templemore played out a draw in their semi final on Sunday afternoon in Nenagh. Dungarvan Colleges were first off the mark in this game with a point from Patrick Curran in the first minute.
