S11S2Pic Mount Sion and Tallow clash in what could prove very entertaining game at Fraher Field on  Sunday afternoon.
The Monastery men have qualified for the knockout stages of this year’s SHC with some ease.
They began the league stage in fine fashion recording three-point wins over Ballygunner,  Abbeyside and Dungarvan, before they lost to Passage by the same margin, and rounded off their  league campaign with a win over Roanmore.
The Bridesiders, a little like Ballygunner, had an indifferent Group campaign but pulled it together  when the time so urgently demanded it.
The 2010 finalists began their campaign with a fine win over reigning intermediate champions An  Rinn, before losing to Fourmilewater at the same venue in round two.
In the third round, they suffered a heavy defeat to neighbours Lismore in Ballyduff Upper, before  sharing the spoils in their next outing with their closest rivals Ballyduff Upper at Lismore.
Requiring a win in the final round, Tallow achieved just that, seeing off an undrerstrength De La Salle side at Fraher Field, a result which sent Lismore tumbling out of the SHC despite their rifling seven goals past An Rinn in their final group fixture.
The sides have met on three occasions over the past three years, with Mount Sion winning last time out by 2-15 to 0-15.
