A South Kilkenny man accused of driving while under the influence failed to appear in court recently.
Brandon O’Neill (26) of 9 The Pines, Roseleigh, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny, made no appearance at a sitting of Waterford District Court earlier this month before Judge Kevin Staunton.
He is accused of allegedly driving while under the influence of an intoxicant, contrary to Road Traffic legislation. The offence is alleged to have occurred on 1 July, 2025, at Graigavine, Mooncoin.
After noting that the accused was not present, Judge Staunton issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
