With John Mullane and Eoin Kelly both back in training this week, the prospect of Waterford extricating themselves from a sticky National Hurling League wicket remains a possibility.

But that didn’t serve to soften the disappointment of manager Michael Ryan during a frank exchange with RTE Radio’s Martin Kiely at Semple Stadium in the wake of Sunday’s 10-point defeat to Tipperary.

Having achieved so much in recent years, Waterford’s Intermediate Camogie team will be hoping to move a few more rungs up the ladder again during the 2013 League and Championship campaign.
