Salthill Devon 1; Waterford United 3
Following a couple of poor results, Waterford United bounced back to form in Drom on Saturday night last and they came from behind to beat Salthill Devon for the third time this season.
The team showed four changes from the one which drew with Finn Harps the previous week. Out went Kevin Murray, Adam McSherry, Seamus Long and the suspended Michael Coady. In came John Hayes, David Breen, Brian Nolan and Willie John Kiely.
When the hosts took the lead in the first half another bad outcome looked on the cards, but in the lashing rain the Blues fought back to secure a much required boost as they prepare to play the big guns like Cork City and Limerick during the coming weeks.
