Brickeys 0-7; An Rinn 0-6
The Brickeys pulled off the first shock of the county senior football championship on Saturday night last when they beat a fancied An Rinn side at the Ardmore club grounds by the minimum margin.
Since coming up from the intermediate ranks a few years back, The Brickeys have struggled somewhat in the senior competitions but the way the championship is structured any fears they may have had of relegation going into this year’s championship are now largely alleviated and instead they could well end up contesting one of the quarter-final berths.
