When Tramore defeated Bohemians on Thursday night, Carrick United lost their top spot to the seasiders but they regained their two-point advantage at the summit when they beat 10-man Johnville in Tom Drohan Park on Sunday morning.
Gary Kelly was sent off in the first half and from then on there was always going to be just one result. Thomas Fitzgerald scored a brace for the champions with Bobby Landers and Paul Coady also chipping in with a goal apiece.
