Carrick United took four points from a possible six last week to more or less wrap up the Premier League crown.
On Wednesday last they defeated Villa 2-0 in Tom Drohan Park. Thomas Fitzgerald (70 mins) and Alan Coady (82 mins) were their goalscorers.
On Sunday morning last they drew 1-1 with Southend United. Anthony Power gave them the lead direct from a corner kick. Paddy Carey also scored direct from a corner for United.
Both goals were scored in the first half. St Saviour’s defeated Johnville thanks to a goal from Kevin Dolan on 65 minutes.
