Villa boss Pascal Keane said he was proud of his players after holding title-chasing Tramore to a draw in Graun Park on Saturday night. Keane had to plan without seven first-choice players and his patched-up team of youths and lower division players held the home side.
Goalkeeper Robert Bresnan was superb when he was called into action and the two banks of four certainly frustrated the seasiders. With a little bit of luck Villa could have perhaps have taken all three points as they caught the home side on three occasions with counter attacks.
