The former GAA President, Sean Kelly MEP for South/Munster, will open this year’s Iverk Show on Saturday 28th August. Following the success of last year’s deferred show to a Saturday, it will be on Saturday again but this time the last Saturday in August.
MEP Kelly has been a great proponent of farming as well as the rights of Waterford Crystal workers and a regeneration of the local economy in the South East.
Some new classes and events are planned for the show that will appeal to all types and not just farmers. Grow it Yourself will have a large area as will other alternative enterprises. Please diary this date.
