Two teams locked together on 10 points, Bohemians and Dungarvan United, met in Ben Wadding Park on Saturday night and it was the Old Borough visitors who took the three points on offer courtesy of an easy 3-0 victory.
They have played two games less than Bohs so they are pulling away from the danger zone. Kevin Walsh brought his total for the season to three with a goal in each half. Near the finish, substitute Micky Mahony scored with his first touch of the ball.
