Dungarvan United came out on top in the “six pointer” basement battle in St Martin’s Park on Sunday morning last.
Michael Byrne gave the Old Borough side the lead with a free kick after only 6 minutes. Paul Cleary got Johnville back on terms on 72 minutes, but substitute Nicky Donnelly headed a dramatic winner for Dungarvan in extra time.
Johnville remain bottom of the pile with 5 points from ten games played. Dungarvan move on to 10 points but they have played only 8 games.
