A County Waterford Publican pleaded guilty to evading tobacco tax when he appeared in the Circuit Criminal Court in Waterford last week.
James Kennedy with an address at O’Neill’s Bar, Main Street, Portlaw, is charged with the evasion of tobacco products tax on 33,440 cigarettes and 58.5 kgs of fine cut tobacco on September 3rd, 2014.
Judge Eugene O’Kelly granted an application for an adjournment of the case to April 5th next.
