Garda in the city are seeking the public’s assistance in connection with a number of break-ins that took place over the weekend.
A black laptop and car keys were taken during a break-in at Coxtown West, Dunmore East overnight on Saturday. Entry was gained by smashing a rear door.
On Friday evening, between 2.15pm and 9.15pm, the rear window of a house at Ashcroft Road, Riverview, Knockboy was forced and a number of rooms gone through. Some cash was taken.
Finally a hoverboard was amongst the items stolen during a break-in at Summerville Avenue last Friday, between 4pm and midnight.
The house was accessed by forcing a rear bedroom window and a number of items gone through. Also taken was a black Bosch Gs-50 power vacuum cleaner, a blue Bosch Iron and some cash.
