There was excitement and jubilation at the Watergate Theatre for the new Kilkenny musical: The Stone/The Alice Kytler Musical. The red carpet was out, there was a new beer in Cleere’s Pub – Smithwicks Pale Ale (described as the champagne of beers).
With music and lyrics by Jason Paul Ryan and Tom Bolger and adapted, staged, directed and packaged by Ryan, this was an historic moment for Stone Productions and Starlight Stage Productions.
