The arctic conditions may have passed (but not for long depending on what meteorologist you listen to) but the levels of salt and grit available in Waterford City continues to concern Councillor John Cummins.
At the time of writing, the Fine Gael Councillor has learned that the Council has enough to supplies to ensure ‘priority one and two’ routes running smoothly until our publication date today (Wednesday).
Those supplies, however, do not extend to treating those residential estates which were completely inaccessible to gritting trucks during the big freeze.
