Plans for a residential development on the former Glanbia Liquid Milk Depot site at Maypark Lane, Waterford have been appealed to An Bórd Pleanála.
The City Council granted permission to Glanbia Estates Ltd to demolish the existing structures and construction 40 houses, together with new site entrances and carparking, as well as improvements to the woodland area and reinstatement of the existing pond.
The company has appealed aspects of the 10 conditions attached to the permission, and an appeal has also been lodged by Rita Canney, Grantstown Village.
Meanwhile, Aidan McAvinue has appealed the grant of permission to Maxol Ltd to redevelop its filling station on the Dunmore Road. The proposal includes a new convenience store with retail and off-licence area, café, and hot food deli.
