Piltown recorded their first ever victory in Premier League football when they defeated Ferrybank 2-1 in Kildalton Park on Saturday night. Mark O’Driscoll and Barry Walsh scored the goals which proved to much for a Ferrybank team who had Sam Lawless to thank for their late score.
Piltown have now drawn level on points with Bohemians (four in total) and the two teams meet in Ben Wadding Park this Saturday night.
St Saviour’s have joined Carrick United on 13 points following their 4-0 victory over a Dungarvan United team who have yet to register a point after six outings. John Paul Jacob, Johnny Keane, Kenny Purcell and an Aaron O’Neill penalty gave the Saints their three points.
